Cover is two guarantees on the work you have already agreed: a 21-day priority turnaround, and a price hold.

Priority turnaround means when you call the work in, we schedule it inside 21 working days rather than into the next open slot. Outages don’t wait, and neither do we.

The price hold fixes the rate you were quoted for the length of the term — three years on its own, six when it comes bundled into Shield Plan, ten under Fleet. Whatever happens to steel, wire or labor in that window, you pay the number on your quote.

An inspection is one visit. We open the vessel, read the shell and give you a report. You decide what happens next.

Monitor is the inspection on a schedule, held under contract — every 18 months on a batch vessel, every 12 on a continuous one, which is the larger and harder-worked of the two. It is what keeps the repair guarantee active. The guarantee runs 10 years on batch and 15 on continuous, but only while Monitor is running against the work.

Batch Monitor runs at a fixed rate. Continuous is priced on survey, because the vessels are bigger and the cycle is shorter.

Two things worth knowing. Monitor is cheaper per inspection than buying visits one at a time, and Cover comes free with it. And if a subscription is allowed to lapse, Monitor cannot be restarted on that vessel — the guarantee does not come back. Read that twice before anyone lets one run out.

Shield Plan pre-funds 80% of the repair quote through monthly payments. The remaining 20% falls due at the time the work is carried out.

That balance is capped at 25% above the original quote. The cap only comes into play if extraordinary material inflation or labor cost movement occurs between quote and outage — and historically neither has been a problem for us, because we run internal cost hedging on wire and consumables.

In practice: you know 80% of the number years out, and the worst case on the rest is a figure you can put in a budget today.

Fleet opens at two mills, or three digesters — whichever you reach first. One site with three vessels qualifies. Two sites with one vessel each qualifies.

It does two things: Cover extends from three years to ten, and 2% comes off labor on every Shield line in the order.

Most operators price two mills together even when only one is due this year, because the second one costs less to add than it does to quote separately later.

Yes, absolutely. Sites rarely need the same thing in the same year — one vessel wants a full Shield, another only needs eyes on it.
